Welcome to Aqua Nor Student Camp
From the 18th to the 21st of August, the stage is set for the Aqua Nor Student Camp. Here, 25 lucky students get the opportunity to visit the exhibition, show themselves to the aquaculture industry, and compete for prize money.
Each student registers individually. The organizer then forms groups of approx. 5 students from different educational institutions and fields of study who will work together from Monday evening to Wednesday evening. During the Student Day on Thursday the 21st of August, the groups will pitch their ideas for a jury. A jury will pick out a winning group, which will be announced at the exhibition. The main prize is a group cheque worth NOK 10.000. In addition, all students participating in the Aqua Nor Student Camp get access to the fair incl. lunches all days, and an own space for group work at the venue.
Are you curious about this high technology sector that has become one of the largest industries in Norway? Will it be possible to support the ambition to sustainably cultivate more seafood using beyond world-class technology? And are you eager to share your ideas with students from other fields and universities? During the Student Camp, you will also learn more about how to work with complex, industry related issues, and be guided by industry mentors.
Participation requires interest, commitment, and willingness to cooperate, as well as a basic knowledge about aquaculture. You are expected to contribute with your own scientific skills and creativeness.

How to get there
Trondheim Spektrum is within walking or cycling distance from the city center. Public transport is well organised, and it is a short walk from nearby stops.
Implementation
Group work (not digital).
Participants are covered for entry and lunch during the entire period. Travel and accommodation must be covered by each individual participant
