The Royal House of Norway’s long lasting engagement

In 1908 the new royal family of Norway, consisting of King Haakon, Queen Maud and prince Olav attended the grand Scandinavian fisheries exhibition in Trondheim.

Since then, a majority of the Nor-Fishing and Aqua Nor exhibitions has been opened by the Royals. From 1960 to 1976 all exhibitions were opened by H.M. King Olav. After that H.M. King Harald, H.M. Queen Sonja and H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon has taken turns on the assignment.
