The Nor-Fishing Foundation has entered into a long-term partnership with Arctic Securities—one of Norway’s leading financial advisors within the seafood and aquaculture sectors. The collaboration aims to strengthen and expand the exhibition’s professional conference programme.
–We are very pleased to formalise this partnership with Arctic Securities, and we are confident it will be highly valued by our visitors, says Kristin Langeland, Chair of the Board at the Nor-Fishing Foundation.
The agreement, which runs through 2031, marks a significant step in elevating the financial dimension of Aqua Nor. Together, the parties will develop a high-impact seminar programme offering investors, decision-makers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders deeper insight into capital markets, global trends, and future growth opportunities.
–Together with Arctic, we are building a key meeting place for national and international capital, expertise, and technology at Aqua Nor. This will further strengthen the exhibition as a platform for strategic dialogue and new investments, Langeland adds.
Strengthening the link between capital and technology
Arctic Securities is a well-established player in the seafood sector, and the partnership with Aqua Nor reflects a clear ambition to engage even more closely with the industry.
–Aqua Nor is one of the most important arenas for insight, technological innovation, and dialogue within the seafood industry. We look forward to developing the financial seminar into a platform that provides the industry with concrete insights into market developments and trends, while strengthening the connection between capital and technology, says Steffen Rødsjø of Arctic Securities.
A partner close to the industry
For Aqua Nor, the partnership is also of strategic importance.
–This is a strategically important collaboration for us. Arctic brings unique financial expertise within aquaculture and seafood in Norway. It is a partner that seeks to be close to the industry—not simply observe it from a distance, Langeland emphasizes.
Rødsjø believes that the link between finance and industry is essential to understanding the development of aquaculture.
–To truly understand how aquaculture is evolving, you need to be close to the environments driving innovation. For us, this partnership is a natural extension of our work in the seafood sector. We want to contribute where knowledge is created, technology is developed, and value is built—along the coast, together with the industry.
